Meet Ed Loftus, Project Director for the Ashtabula Office. Ed has been with Mature Services, Inc. since 2010 and enjoys the opportunity to help older workers re-enter the workforce. The Ashtabula Project has a variety of trained, older workers who are job-ready in five different NE Ohio counties. The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) of Cuyahoga (east) and Portage counties is now served through the Ashtabula office by Ed Loftus, the region's Project Director.

Sometimes all you need is a little help and some extra training.

In cooperation with LF Bucci Microcomputer, Mature Services helped 21 older workers update their computer skills. Each participant received a certificate that reflects that improved competence in various office programs. Programs covered included: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Quickbooks. The Ashtabula Project provides training in a variety of career interests to meet the demands of an ever-changing market place.
