This Trainer/Employer Representative provides employment counseling, job search training and job placement for older workers at our Cleveland or Cincinnati Senior Employment Center. Develop job leads for job seekers by establishing relationships with area employers; provide classroom and individual training in job search strategies. Assist with the development and coordination of on-site hiring events. Provide outreach and recruitment services for the Senior Employment Center, and assist with participant orientation; assess applicants’ job readiness and make appropriate referrals for training and employment services. Responsible for meeting WIA training and placement goals in a fast paced, highly collaborative team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work or related field required; additional experience in marketing, training, employment counseling, social services or a related field preferred.
