The RSVP Program Specialist coordinates the Medina County RSVP Volunteer Program Grant work plan activities. Recruit and enroll older adults with presentations to community organizations, groups and businesses; attend networking and community events, fairs and meetings. Provide volunteer training for proposed work plan activities and supervise volunteers in program. Conduct program evaluations and assist with special events including fundraising and volunteer recognition.

QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate’s degree in social services, marketing, public relations or communications necessary; experience in public speaking, training, setting up meetings, and creating promotional materials (flyers, brochures, newsletters, etc.) required. Experience coordinating special events preferred.
