The Nutrition Program Driver delivers prepared meals to off‐premises meal sites, and picks up donations from meal sites. Pick up/check in food orders and deliveries. Purchase food supplies as directed, itemizing receipts with purchases and costs. Maintain and organize grocery storage on shelves, in refrigerators and freezers as appropriate, and assist Program Coordinator with inventory procedures. Document mileage on agency van or personal transportation; purchase gas as needed. The Nutrition Driver also assists with food preparation and congregate meal service as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: A valid Ohio driver's license and automobile insurance, and experience driving a van is required; must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in performance of essential job functions. The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record. Knowledge of kitchen equipment, Health Dept. sanitation regulations and food storage requirements a plus.
