Under the direct supervision of the Area Manager/Employer Representative, this position works collaboratively with the Employment Connection staff to provide case management services to individuals seeking to enter/reenter the workforce. Assist recruiters in finding qualified candidates for open positions, and assist job seekers with development of Individual Plan for Employment, documenting all contacts and referrals in web-based tracking system. Work with Title V Project Director to achieve dual enrollment of appropriate individuals, and teach job search classes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate’s degree in business administration, social work or a related field is required, and two years experience in marketing, training, employment counseling and job placement is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about current economic trends related to employment in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, will have a working knowledge of the Workforce Investment Act and related regulations, and will have strong computer skills and experience with MS Word, Excel and Access.
