Under the supervision of the VP for Workforce Development, the Administrative Assistant/Service Learning Specialist coordinates service learning activities for the Senior Employment Center, including college internships and VISTA. Identify and catalog internship/service learning offices at post-secondary institutions to promote opportunities, and submit required information to state service learning organizations including grants, learning objectives, quarterly reports, etc. Provide administrative support for SEC Management Team, including the processing of travel arrangement, purchase orders, timesheets, mileage/expense reports, petty cash; organize and track information for special events, and assist with grant proposal preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2-5 years experience in an administrative or support related position required; must demonstrate computer proficiencies in the internet and MS Office 2007 and possess exceptional organizational/detail orientation skills. Experience in a non-profit environment a plus.
