The Job Club is an intensive job seeking course covering such
topics as: goal setting, resume development, interviewing,
networking, cold calling and targeting unadvertised jobs.
The job club service is followed up with individual
employment counseling and case management. We also offer a Customer Service Training Program that gives individuals training in the various aspects of effective phone communication and customer service. This training will prepare participants for a career in telemarketing and can be applied equally well to any position where a person works with the public. We have operated job fairs in Cleveland and Akron.
The benefits are good publicity, recruitment for our programs, and development of new partnerships with employers. Job seekers get the opportunity to meet with companies that are there specifically to hire an experienced older worker. |
