Although women are less likely to
drink
than men, they are more
vulnerable
to
the effects
of alcohol
use. Mature
women
have aging
related physical
changes,
which
adds to
their risk of
problems
with alcohol
and
other
drugs.
They
get addicted faster
with
smaller
amounts than any
other
group of adults.
